Local redirects

Is there a way to set up a redirect to a national Google search?  Living 
in the yUK, quite often a google.com search does not throw up relevant 
links and you need to use google.co.uk as the search engine.  Which is 
all very well unless you want to suggest someone should have 
justfuckinggoogled it as the google.com redirect does not give them any 
useful information.
